City Government Targets 300 Persons in Today’s Vaccination

The local government of San Carlos City thru the Emergency Operations Center-Vaccine Cluster and City Health Office targets to inoculate 300 or more persons today, July 27 at the San Carlos City Multi-Purpose Hall, Park Marina. 

Priority groups belonging to A2 (senior citizens) and A3 (persons with comorbidity) availed the one-dose Janssen vaccine by Johnson and Johnson.
Bishop Gerardo Alminaza of the Diocese of San Carlos City who got his shot said he volunteered to get vaccinated in response to the Pope's call to achieve herd immunity for the safety of the whole community. He also cited that hesitant individuals should trust health authorities and not rely on the social media which usually posts fake news regarding the vaccines.
Anthony Aldrich, 65 year-old American who married a resident of San Carlos and now living in Barangay Ermita, Sipaway said it is his will to get vaccinated so his body can resist or avoid COVID-19.
The said vaccination started yesterday July 26, 2021 where 336 individuals were inoculated while 113 were vaccinated simultaneously at Barangay Buluangan Covered Court.
