Mayor Gustilo, VM Carmona Bid for Reelection

San Carlos City incumbent Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo, Vice Mayor Christopher Paul S. Carmona and party mates announced their bid for reelection in the 2022 National and Local Elections, Sept. 10 at 10.9 Resto Grand Function Room.

Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose V. Lacson also led the endorsement of other official candidates in the 1st district of Negros Occidental under the Team Unity banner.
Among the incumbent city officials who also sought reelection include Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) Members Wilmer L. Yap, Mark E. Cui, Benito Y. Gustilo Jr., Philip Gerard B. Maisog, Carlos Manuel L. Valmayor, Jose Carlos L. Villarante and Jeffrey M. Hidalgo while former SP Members Victoriana S. Cabili and Jonie S. Uy together with new aspirant Barangay 4 Punong Brgy. Armando L. Laguda Jr. will also run for a seat in the San Carlos City Council.
On the other hand, former Congressman of the 1st District of Negros Occidental Julio "Jules" Ledesma IV strongly endorses the candidacy of Gov. Lacson, Vice-Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer for the province of Negros Occidental and Congressman Gerardo Valmayor Jr of the 1st District including the bid of Board Members Rommel T Debulgado and Araceli T Somosa.
Ledesma also advocates for the leadership of all the candidates of the Love Negros party and those of the 1st District of Negros Occidental which include the Municipalities of Don Salvador Benedicto, Toboso and Calatrava, and the Cities of San Carlos and Escalante.
