San Carlos City Gets Award for Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign

The city government of San Carlos received the 2019 National Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Award from the Department of the Interior & Local Government (DILG) presented by San Carlos City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (SCCADAC) Secretariat Ana Liza Macaraya, yesterday.

Macaraya said the award was given by the DILG as recognition of the city’s effort in supporting the national government’s anti-illegal drug abuse campaign. The city garnered a score of 90 functionality points during the conduct of 2018 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit.
Macaraya handed the said award to San Carlos City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo. Also present during the turn-over were Congressman Gerardo P. Valmayor Jr., Vice Mayor Christopher Paul Carmona, Sanggguniang Panlungsod Members Mark Cui, Clint Mansueto and City Administrator Atty. Estefanio Libutan Jr. and CPDO Head Engr. Magnolia B. Antonio.
