BFP San Carlos and City Waterworks Department inspects fire hydrants
BFP uniformed personnel and CWD personnel inspects the fire hydrant at Brgy 6
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) of San Carlos City conducted fire hydrant inspection at Brgy. 6, this morning, March 3 as part of the observance of the Fire Prevention Month this March.
BFP personnel inspect the fire hydrants and dry stand pipes by operating and flushing stagnated water in pipes. They also re-checked pipes for any leaks or rusts; applied grease on the mouths of hydrants and pipes for easy access during emergencies.
City Waterworks Department Officer-In-Charge Engr. Aris Yap also assisted in the inspection and gave further suggestion for intervention on problems of leakage and other issues on dry stand pipes.
The CWD office will repair broken pipes leading to said fire hydrants.
