San Carlos City Gets Aid from DOLE
San Carlos City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo received 100 insurance cards valid for a year and module supplies from the Department of Labor and Employment Negros Occidental Field Office (DOLE NOFO),May 28.

giving of insurance cards for the city, May 28
Ma. Zyrene Prietos, Labor Employment Officer III of DOLE provincial office said that the provisions come from DOLE’s Child Labor Prevention and Elimination Program dubbed as Project Angel Tree intended for the profiled children at risk of child labor practice mostly from Barangay One.
She added that as part of the project they will also provide free medical and dental mission; free wellness, grooming and school supplies for children while the parents will also have livelihood assistance and other services in coordination with other agencies of the government.Mayor Gustilo expressed his gratitude to DOLE saying that may it not be the end but rather the beginning of more services to be offered.
Also present during the turnover were Leizl Jane Salanap and Earlon John Alipo-on, Community Facilitators Child Laborer Program DOLE NOFO (Negros Occidental Field Office); Erel Lim, Public Employment Service Office (PESO) In-Charge and Community Training for Employment Coordinator (CTEC) and other PESO staff.
