City Engineering Department
I. FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT
Administers, coordinates, supervises and controls the construction, maintenance, improvement and repair of roads, bridges and other engineering and public works projects of the LGU;
Initiates, reviews and recommends changes in policies and objectives, plans and programs, techniques, procedures & practices in infrastructure development & public works in general of the local government unit;
Advises the City Mayor on infrastructure, public works and other engineering matters;
Provides technical assistance to barangays of the local government unit in project planning and design and implementation of barangay projects;
Provides engineering services to the LGU including investigation and survey, engineering designs and feasibility studies as well as project management;
Exercises such other functions and performs such other duties as maybe prescribed by law or ordinances.
