RESOLUTION RETURNING TO THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR THE MOA ON SECURITY SERVICES WITH ST. JUDE SECURITY SERVICES, FOR THE CONSUELO COMMUNITY CENTER (ALGERS), FOR FURTHER REVIEW AND EVALUATION

WHEREAS, the Office of the City Mayor, submitted to the Sanggunian the MOA on Security Services of the different local government facilities effective January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010;

WHEREAS, St. Jude Security Services, a security agency duly licensed and existing under the laws of the Philippines, found to have offered the lowest bid in the bidding for security services;

WHEREAS,  the SP Committee on Laws, after making a thorough review on the bidding documents, St. Jude Security Services offered rates that were not uniform for all facilities as the rate / guard for the Consuelo Community Center (Algers) was slightly higher than the others;

WHEREAS, the SP Committee on Laws opined that St. Jude Security Services having been awarded as the lowest bidder on security services for the city government should have offered a uniform rate per guard;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. ANTONIO, duly seconded by Hons. CARMONA and UY,

THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD RESOLVED to return to the Office of the City Mayor the MOA on security services with St. Jude Security Services, for the Consuelo Community Center (Algers), for further review and evaluation.

RESOLVED FURTHER to furnish copies of this resolution to the Honorable City Mayor, City Legal Office, GSD and St. Jude Security Services, this city, for their information.
