RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR TO SIGN THE  MOA ON SECURITY SERVICES, WITH ST. JUDE SECURITY SERVICES, FOR THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT TERMINAL; CITY HOSPITAL; PEOPLE’S PARK; MOTOR POOL AND THE CITY HALL EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2010 TO DECEMBER 31, 2010

WHEREAS, the Office of the City Mayor, submitted to the Sanggunian the MOA on Security Services of the different local government facilities effective January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010;

WHEREAS, St. Jude Security Services, a security agency duly licensed and existing under the laws of the Philippines, found to have offered the lowest bid in the bidding for security services;

WHEREAS, the stipulations in the MOA are found legally in order; and, that the governing principles on government procurement were followed;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. ANTONIO, duly seconded by Hons. CARMONA and UY,

THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD RESOLVED to authorize the City Mayor to sign the MOA on security services, with St. Jude Security Services, for the Public Transport Terminal; City Hospital; People’s Park; Motor Pool and the City Hall effective July 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010.

RESOLVED FURTHER to furnish copies of this resolution to the Honorable City Mayor, City Legal Office, GSD and St. Jude Security Services, this city, for their information.
