RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 1 FOR CY 2010 OF BARANGAY SAN JUAN, THIS CITY

WHEREAS, Sub-section (a) of Sec. 333 of R.A. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, provides that: Review of the Barangay Budget. - within ten (10) days from its approval, copies of the barangay ordinance authorizing the annual appropriations shall be furnished the Sangguniang Panlungsod or the  Sangguniang Bayan, as the case may be, through the city or municipal budget officer;

WHEREAS, the abovecited provision stipulated for the Sanggunian to have the power to review such ordinance in order to ensure that the provisions of R.A. 7160, are complied with;

WHEREAS, the Supplemental Budget No. 1 for CY 2010 of BARANGAY SAN JUAN, involving an appropriation of =P=188,490.17, had been presented for review and appropriate action, after having been deliberated and found to have complied with the budgetary requirements set forth in R.A. 7160 by the Local Finance Committee;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. DESAMPARADO, duly seconded by Hons. ANTONIO and UY, it was,

RESOLVED, as it hereby resolves, to approve the above-mentioned Supplemental Budget, as submitted for review, subject to the conditions set forth in the review letter hereto attached and forming an integral part of this resolution.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to the City Mayor, City Budget Officer, City Accountant, City Treasurer, City Auditor, DILG, and the aforementioned barangay, this city, for their information.
