San Carlos City Mayor Gustilo Orders Temporary Shutdown of Bio-Ethanol Plant
San Carlos Bio-energy Plant
The city government of San Carlos thru City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo sent a letter to San Carlos Bio-energy, Inc. (SCBI) dated Feb. 18, 2021 prompting said company to temporarily cease its operation in the afternoon of Feb. 19, 2021.

City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo re-inspected bridges and other structures
San Carlos City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo yesterday, Feb. 17 re-inspected the bridges in Barangay Palampas for other damages of the structures caused by the flashflood last month.

During the inspection, Mayor Gustilo noticed that there were holes formed close to the bridges and directed the City Engineering Department (CED) representative to dump boulders to stop any further damages.
He also instructed for an immediate repair on the crack of the bridge.
